To obtain vibrant colors without blur or bleeding of ink and enhance fastness of dyes, proper pre-treatments are essential. Otherwise the following problems may arise:.
· Print is not even and blur of ink is likely to occur.
· Color is not vivid.
· Density of color is not enough.
· Wash/light/crock-fastness are not enough.
After printing, Steaming and Washing are required to fix dye and wash off excess dyes and starch.
