By irradiating UV (Ultraviolet) light, the ink polymerizes and firmly fixes onto materials. UV curable ink, which cures soon after printing, does not contain VOCs (Volatile organic compounds) and is environmentally-friendly ink. Direct printing on plastics (PET, polycarbonate etc.) and nonabsorbent materials is possible.
[The fastness of UV curable ink on nonabsorbent materials by polymerizing reaction.]
Liquid monomers (low molecule) making up of the UV curable ink are transformed into
Polymers (high molecule) after binding by the irradiation of UV light.
Direct printing on nonabsorbent materials is now available since the coated layers of the resinous polymers (high molecule) produce printed images on the surface of the materials.

Non-contact printing methods make highly precise direct printing possible on surfaces of concave-convex and three-dimensional curved surface or molded materials which have been difficult to be printed by Screen printing and Pad printing methods. Brilliant colors, full-color photo image data and even smooth gradations are achieved by inkjet printing methods.

Output samples are printed directly on curved three-dimensional surfaces.
Thanks to digital technology, on-demand production is realized without making any plates or having extra inventories.
It is time to extend your new business by using a UV inkjet printer.

Aqueous ink has less odor and rich color expressiveness, which is often used for indoor poster and wallpaper applications. The ink penetrates the media during drying, therefore compatible substrates are limited; that is exclusive substrates having an absorptive function or ink acceptance layer.
Solvent ink dries quickly, and it is suitable for outdoor advertising display and poster applications. The ink dries by heat and evaporation; substrates which have solvent absorbability are compatible.
Basically, UV curable ink can be used for many plastics and particularly materials without any special preference. Since UV curable ink cures by UV light instantly onto the substrate and the ink does not seep into the surface, there is no concern regarding ink penetration.
